PRIVACY, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Your images stay with you.

The converter processes selected images locally. It does not upload image payloads to a server or a conversion API.

What the browser does

Your browser downloads the website’s code and assets. When you choose images, the converter reads them in browser memory, decodes them, and creates new image files. You download those results to your device. There is no application image-upload endpoint.

Memory and downloads

Removing an image or clearing the queue releases its associated previews and results. Closing the page terminates processing workers. Downloads you save remain on your device until you delete them. Ordinary browser and operating-system behavior is outside the converter’s control.

Preferences and network requests

Your light or dark theme preference may be stored in your browser’s local storage. We do not include third-party analytics or tracking scripts in this build. The website still makes ordinary asset requests, and your hosting provider can receive request information such as IP addresses and user-agent headers.

Advertisements

No ad network is integrated. A future advertising or analytics integration would need a corresponding privacy update and any applicable consent handling before activation.

Limitations

Conversion is re-encoding, not secure redaction. Do not assume all metadata is removed or that pixels containing sensitive information are anonymized. Keep your originals when you need them.
