YOUR NEXT STEP

How to convert WEBP to PNG.

A useful format change for editors and applications that require PNG. Animation, upscaling and image restoration are outside this tool’s scope.

  1. 01

Select still WebP images from your device.

  2. 02

Review each image preview and its dimensions.

  3. 03

Convert to PNG; transparent pixels stay transparent.

  4. 04

Download the results individually or together as a ZIP.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

Does this preserve transparency?

Yes. Transparent pixels decoded from the still WebP image are preserved in the PNG output. No background is added.

Does lossless output mean the original was lossless?

No. PNG preserves the decoded pixels. If the source WebP was lossy, detail already removed cannot be recovered.

Why might the output be much larger?

WebP can compress photos very efficiently. PNG uses a different, lossless method, so an equally sized image may require significantly more bytes.
